AGROPAC is a 13-member farmers' cooperative in the Acacías municipality of Meta, Colombia, founded in 2008 when families returned to lands they had abandoned during the armed conflict. The cooperative specializes in 100% organic cacao cultivation and full-cycle chocolate transformation — from fermentation and drying to stone-ground chocolate tablets, chocolatines, cacao butter, and organic jam from the mucilage — all packaged in biodegradable sugarcane packaging. Members share equipment and work collectively across three rural villages, with no pesticides and zero-waste ambitions.
