ASOCIACIÓN AGROPECUARIA AMBIENTAL DEL SUR DEL TOLIMA

Known as Unichaparral, this second-level association unites five coffee cooperatives with 256 producers across 664 hectares in Chaparral, Tolima, Colombia. Constituted in 2015 with support from a Canadian development project (IMPACT), the association grows and processes specialty coffee in varieties including Geisha, Castillo, Tabi, and Borbón, holding certifications such as Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, and Organic Manos de Mujer. It exports to Germany, the USA, and Canada, and is actively building production capacity and market positioning through business accelerators.
