The Food Security Cluster of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB) is a public-private coordination initiative launched in January 2024 to strengthen the food system across Bogotá and the surrounding Cundinamarca region. Building on earlier food and gastronomy cluster work, it brings together producers, food-processing companies, restaurants, distributors, trade associations, government ministries, universities, and civil society around three pillars: food availability, access, and adequacy. The cluster funds studies, runs capacity-building programmes, brokers multi-stakeholder dialogues, and coordinates food-rescue logistics to address the estimated 1 million food-insecure residents in Bogotá.
