Kit Fa'a'apu Solidaire

The solidarity fa'a'apu kits are a programme of the Chamber of Agriculture and Lagoon Fisheries of French Polynesia supporting Polynesian families in starting their own organic vegetable garden. Each kit provides raised wooden beds filled with compost, netting for staking, small tools, substrate, fish-based fertiliser and seeds, together with two days of training; in its 2023 test phase, kits were installed with beneficiaries across Tahiti, Moorea and Raiatea and the large majority kept their gardens going.
