Urban Farmers Pro

Urban Farmers Pro is an innovative agri-tech startup based in Bogota that specializes in hydroponic agriculture, using artificial intelligence for the centralized control of its production systems. This initiative enables urban agriculture in limited spaces, maximizing the use of water and fertilizers and producing vegetables cleanly and without chemicals. The startup operates hydroponic production units, initially housed in shipping containers, which have been adapted to optimize space and resources. Focusing on high productivity, they are able to produce the equivalent of traditional agriculture on a much smaller footprint, while ensuring that their produce is pesticide-free and irrigated with clean drinking water. As they expand their operations to include vertical farming, Urban Farmers Pro aims to broaden their market reach, targeting both individual consumers and businesses in the hospitality sector, while exploring partnerships to bring their sustainable farming model to regions with limited access to fresh produce.
