Aquaponia - Rybí zahrada

Rybí zahrada, run by Aquaponia in the village of Lážovice, is the largest aquaponic farm in the Czech Republic and one of the biggest in Central Europe. Fish and plants are raised in a closed loop, where the fish provide nutrients for the vegetables and herbs and the plants clean the water in return, allowing year-round production without fertilisers, antibiotics or herbicides and with a fraction of the water used in conventional agriculture.
