The initiative, led by the Asociación Nacional de las Cadenas Productivas del Penco y la Cabulla (ANAGABEV), focuses on promoting the agave value chain in Ecuador. It aims to preserve ancestral agricultural practices while integrating modern technologies to improve food security and community identity. Through collaboration with academia and local producers, ANAGABEV aims to revitalize the diverse uses of the agave plant, ensuring its sustainability for future generations and promoting social, academic and environmental development.
