ECOMARCAL (Participatory Guarantee System)

Ecomarcal is part of the Participatory Guarantee System (SPG): an agroecological certification initiative that fosters collaboration between producers, consumers and technical experts. Established in the Andean region, it aims to build trust through a locally developed seal that certifies agroecological practices. By organizing meetings and guided tours, the PGS promotes knowledge sharing and strengthens community ties, ultimately encouraging more producers to make the transition to agroecology and raising consumer awareness of its benefits.
