Conca d'Oro

A social organic farm where inclusion, food production and hospitality meet

Conca d'Oro is a cooperative farm working across two fields: social and work inclusion, with housing and day care for people with disabilities and autism, and the production of organic food. It grows vegetables and fruit in open fields and greenhouses, and runs a grocery shop selling its own products and gift packs made by the apprentices, a restaurant and a bakery. Its staff are social and agricultural operators whose first mission is the well-being of the apprentices, who are taught organic farming, baking and cooking, work as waiters in the restaurant and assemble the gift packs. Customers can eat at the restaurant and buy seasonal own-grown products in the shop, online, or twice a week at the local market of Bassano del Grappa. One of the first social organic farms in the area, Conca d'Oro is a reference point for the local community for the quality of its products and the reputation of its social purpose, and organises events regularly to make its work better known.
