Setas Fresh is a Colombian family initiative specializing in the cultivation of orellanas, a nutritious fruit. Founded in 2015, it grew out of the resilience of its founder's mother after losing her flower crop in 2009. The project emphasizes sustainability and circular economy practices, using waste for compost and reusing water. With support from the Emprender Fund, Setas Fresh has established a stable presence in the market, focusing on both fresh and processed products, while promoting the health benefits associated with orellanas.
