Alvanovo Organic Orchards

Alvanovo Organic Orchards is an association of farmers who bought land in the village of Alvanovo, in the Targovishte region, in 2009 and planted it with orchards. Their fruit and nuts are grown organically, using biological and mechanical pest control and home-made natural repellents, with annual certification inspections; the plums they grow are also processed, including plum kernel oil for natural cosmetics.
